When we heard that one of our favorite painters, Greg Gandy, and his partner Erin Gilmore were having a baby, we wanted to do something to celebrate. It’s not exactly a great time for a baby shower, but an art auction seemed perfect! Dozens of Greg’s fellow artists agreed, and they’ve contributed over 30 pieces for an auction to give the parents-to-be a little nest egg. A list of participating artists is below. A thousand thanks to Brandon Smith for his excellent art-wrangling!

Pieces for the auction will be on view in the gallery, but all bidding will take place online. Bidding will begin the afternoon of Wednesday, March 17th and close at 6 pm (PST) on Sunday, March 21st. You need to register to place a bid, but not to look! You can check out the whole auction here.

Winning pieces will be available for pick-up in the gallery if you’re local. If you’re not in the Bay Area and want a shipping estimate, just let us know which piece you’re interested in and your shipping address and we’ll get back to you.
